The harsh early afternoon light created a beautiful pattern of highlights on this fisherman, on his way to his tried-and-true spot on the Kyi Chu River near Lhasa. The highlights of even the black hand-woven yak jacket glistened in the sun.

This painting received "Best Colorado Artist Award" at Rockies West National in 2014.
